Blind faith
I don’t know how you do it God, but you somehow never fail.
When things don’t seem to go according to plan and frustration starts building up, you catch my attention and remind me to look up. And when I finally choose to listen and look, I see you — the faithful, unchanging, loving and compassionate God that I love.
It’s been tough God. My little soul cannot bear the weight of this world. I wish I could just be in heaven with you and not go through these hardships. But if I must, remind me that you are with me through it all. You sit with me in the fire, you bottle my tears, and you make a way for me. You’re the friend who never leaves. You’re the one I lean on, my strong tower. Help me. Come to my rescue, because I need you to save me. And comfort me please, because you’ve made my heart all too tender.
Even though I don’t see you, I trust you. I believe that you exist and that you are here even now. You see me, you love me, and you will never leave me. And you have promised that all things are being worked out for my good. So I will wait expectantly for you to come through, for you to work. I love you.
